Update: I think I'm back to "normal" as I've only pooped a couple times today. I'm feeling good and I hope it continues. Btw, my dad cleaned the bathroom for me. I owe him one!
Finally, I can blog about girls weekend without the fear of pooping myself. Let me start by saying that I had four days off in a row!!!! I can't remember the last time that happened.
Thursday was absolutely incredible! Even though my rental car wasn't the convertible I booked, I picked up Taylor around 5:15pm and we headed to Miami for the Shania Twain concert. On the way, we mostly talked and caught each other up on our lives. Not much to catch up on since we just talked for a few hours on the phone the night before. We got to the arena early and we were giddy in our seats playing around on Dubsmash to waste time. Once the concert started we sang along with every song. We acted like we were serenading each other, screamed like fan girls, and danced like no one was watching! The night lived up to my expectations, which is to say it was a night I won't forget.
Friday, we returned my rental car and then headed to the hotel for girls weekend. After we checked in early, Taylor and I ate at Lola's. I had an amazing blackened dolphin sandwich. We got a huge brownie to share and that brownie lasted the whole weekend. It was excellent. Once we got back to the hotel we took a nap, and then we lounged by the pool while we waited for Brittany and Kelly to arrive. I enjoyed lounging because it was the only time during the weekend that I read The Martian. It's one hell of a good book. By the time we changed and I jokingly did Taylor's hair, Kel and Britt had arrived. We went to some Tiki place for dinner and it had the perfect atmosphere to set the tone for the weekend. When we got back to the hotel, we played games for hours and danced. It was great to have good old classic fun.
Saturday, we went to the beach. While there we played with a beach ball and Frisbee. Heck, I even joined the ladies in the ocean. The water was clear because there weren't many waves, which I loved. After the beach, we grabbed lunch and took showers, and then headed to the mall. I was exhausted, so I took a nap after the mall. To no avail I woke super fatigued. My stomach hurt, but I just thought it was gas pain. Anyways, I sucked it up and we went bowling and sang karaoke. I won both games of bowling with a 117 and Taylor pointed out my Taco Bell order # on the way back to the hotel was 117. Those numbers don't mean anything to me, but I thought it was weird.
Sunday, we went to the beach and headed home. For me, overall, this weekend was the relaxation I needed and great bonding time with amazing friends. I am noticing though that I don't feel as fun as I used to be. Is that a sign of getting old or just not feeling 100%? I want to have more energy. I don't want going to the beach to feel like it costs me half of my day's spoons.

Fun Times Ahead!!!
This Wednesday I was supposed to go to the Shania Twain concert in Jacksonville with Kim, but she will be in Texas visiting Baylor and learning about their PT program. Have no fear, I was still planning on going even if it meant going by myself. Thankfully, Kelly will be going with me instead. I'm excited because this will give me a chance to start working her out of her shell before our girls/game weekend. Plus, I know she will know all the words to sing along.
It's only my second week at my new job and I'm already taking off two days this week: Thursday and Friday. That's how fantastic my supervisor is. On Thursday I'll be in Sunrise to pick up Taylor from work at 5:30pm so that we can head to The Shania Twain Concert in Miami. I will accept nothing less than a night we will never forget.
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will be spent with Brittany, Kelly, and Taylor! I'm super excited because I think we all need this girls getaway for one reason or another. We will be playing games, drinking, karaoke-ing, bowling, and beach going. Personally, I'm hoping to forget about life's negativity and my responsibilities this weekend. I don't even care that my pooper has been super active lately. They all know I have Crohn's and I know they will understand if I have to make a lot of trips to the bathroom. I'm not in any pain, so I'm up for a weekend full of fun. It's going to be an interesting dynamic of personalities between the four of us. There will never be a dull moment, which is awesome because I want this weekend to be unforgettable. I want to make memories that will have us laughing for years to come.

Making Time
On June 1st, 2015, potentially my first day of unemployment, I wish to start making time for my hobbies again. I want to start making time to run. I worked almost 54 hours this week, so when I was home I was too exhausted to even think about going for a run. I miss it. I miss the road. I miss the time by myself. I miss the high.
I want to start making time to take lessons using my Spanish Rosetta Stone. Maybe if I start soon, I'll eventually learn another language.
I want to start making time for clowning. I love to volunteer clown and I love to make people smile. Plus, I miss my clown friends.
I want to start making time to have some fun. I want to take naps. I want to go to movies. I want to go ice skating. I want to go bowling. I want to hang out with friends. I want to go dancing. I want to try new restaurants. I want an adventure!!!!

Awesome Movie Alert - Interstellar was Super Stellar!
I saw the movie Interstellar with Gabriel last night. Keep in mind, I have a soft spot for sci-fi, so I'm not a very though critic. I absolutely loved every minute of the film. The characters were dynamic, engaging, and genuine. The stakes were high: Earth's resources were scarce and humans were in search of a new habitable planet. What made it cool for me: they hijacked a drone, traveled through a wormhole, one hour on one of the planets in another galaxy was equivalent to 7 to 10 years on Earth, by the end of the movie the dad was younger than his kids, their spaceship surfed a wicked wave, huge ice formations floated as clouds, groovy robots assisted the mission, travel through a black hole led to a world of five or so dimensions, survival and loved ones are powerful forces, emotional decisions can either save you or kill you, and finally the visual effects were gratifyingly phenomenal! Interstellar was super stellar!

Summer Break Part 1
It's hard to believe I haven't taken a single nap so far during my summer break. That in itself is proof I'm been feeling pretty well. Some typical issues health wise, but they seem so minor compared to what I was dealing with that I welcome them. Plus, I'm gaining some weight back. Weight is good because it gives me a little cushion room during bad times since when things go bad quickly I've been known to lose 17lbs in two weeks. Weight also seems to give me more energy and when it's sticking, it usually means I'm doing well... unless I'm on steroids, then I'm just a sick, chubby chipmunk.
Summer Break: Day 1
I spent my free time having dinner with my grandma. No doubt that she enjoys my company as I enjoy hers as well. She has come a long way in the past couple of weeks emotionally. Now, she can reminisce of stories about grandpa without getting too emotional. It made me realize that somewhere in the past month I have stopped mourning grandpa's death. I can't tell which specific day I no longer broke into tears at the thought of losing grandpa, but somehow the crying has ceased. I still miss him though.
Summer Break: Day 2
After work, I met Taylor, her boyfriend and her grandparents at their hotel downtown to get a pre-graduation celebration underway. We enjoyed happy hour where Taylor and I took advantage of their whiskey and coke special. We all drank and chatted about life wasting time before heading to Sak Comedy for a show. My face cheeks hurt from laughing so hard during the show. After we walked back to the hotel, we called it a night and I headed home.
Summer Break: Day 3
I met Taylor's friends and family at the CFE Arena on UCF campus at 7:30am for Taylor's graduation at 9:00am. The graduation was long, but I enjoyed every minute of it. We spotted her walking in to find her seat and she spotted us as she stood up to head to the stage. The speaker called, "Taylor Lauren Conklin," and Taylor gave a little fist pump as she walked across the stage! I fought back tears. I'm so proud of her! Witnessing a UCF graduation makes me even more excited to work hard to graduate in May 2015. Following the graduation we went to Kobe's to celebrate!
Summer Break: Day 4
This morning I put on my running shoes for the first time in a month to meet my friend, Brittany, on the West Orange Trail. We're training for a five mile race in October. We decided to go for five miles, and I was gladly surprised how well we did for just beginning our training schedules. I love running with friends. They make the miles fun. After our run, I showered and headed to my mom's friend's house to put her camcorder videos onto DVD. It took all afternoon because she had a lot of videos, but I didn't mind since she pays me to do it.
I'm just getting started... more fun times ahead!

And Just Like That My Break Is Over
I finished my final exam for summer A term on Thursday. Mistakenly, I thought my class for summer B term started on Tuesday, but I just looked up my schedule and realized that it starts Monday (tomorrow)! So, my four day break ended up being cut short at three days. At least I made the most of it. I mowed my grandma's yard on Friday and helped my dad and uncle trim overgrown tree limbs. By the way, I'm becoming quite a mower. Oddly enough I actually like mowing the lawn and wish my grandma's yard was bigger. I'm confident enough now to put it as a skill on my resume if for some reason I think it would relate to whatever job I'll be applying for. Saturday, I went parasailing and got to hang with my favorite sister, Kim, for the day. We binge watched Dexter on Netflix after our adventure at sea. Once Kim left I took a five hour nap. I napped through dinner and woke up around 10pm. Today, I went for a run. It was short and ugly, but my stomach felt great before, during and after the run. That's a win in my book. That's what I can do with a three day break... imagine if I had a whole week. Five more classes to go before I graduate from U.C.F.

How-To...
This is a how-to-post on things I know nothing about. It’s not meant to be taken seriously. I’m likely misinformed and have the wrong impression about the subjects.
How to play craps:
1. Takes at least two players to play.
2. One person initiates the game by saying, “Crap.”
3. The first person to take a crap in the toilet wins.
4. The person initiating the game can’t immediately rush to the bathroom.
How to enable cookies:
1. Pick up a cookie in each hand. Use two hands and stack them on top of each other if they are big ass cookies.
2. Look at them like a proud parent would.
3. Before each bite say things like “Keep it up. You are gonna be the shit.” “You can be anything you want after you get through this.” “Be free.”
How to get rid of fruit flies:
1. The easiest way to get rid of them is to move far away from them.
2. If they’re bothering your crops more than they’re bothering you, move your crops far away from them to a safe place away from the fruit flies like underwater.
3. If moving isn’t an option, take off both of your shoes.
4. Place your shoes on each hand.
5. Hold your hands out and try to get a fly in between your shoes.
6. Once you have a fly in sight, clap your hands together in an attempt to get rid of fruit fly permanently.
7. Repeat as necessary.
8. To keep the suckers from returning try spraying some perfume around where they were found.
